"The highest intention of practicing Anusara yoga is to align with the Divine. As we deepen our alignment with the Supreme, we step deeper into the flow of Grace." ~ John Friend
Our journey through life is an evolving process of living, understanding and drawing meaning. Spiritual Practice is a means to know a self within our relationship to life. Yoga and the practice of Anusara yoga is a way to draw on and travel with those around us.
With evolving Yoga practice we learn to approach balance mindfully. Aligning being to a state tunes the practitioner to be more responsive to the flow of life. Yoga is learning to live more fully in the moment, practice teaches us to relate to our selves that allow us to walk this path.
Working with the class I teach methods that work with the practice of Yoga. In class students expect to learn Yoga poses that form the vocabulary of Anusara. Whether starting anew or as an experienced practitioner class forms the student to develop different levels of Yoga experience.
As teacher I see beginners learn the fundamentals of Yoga, with more practice I see experienced practitioners find more balance in their life. As I say in more depth in the site Yoga is about "Union." Yoga is about developing depth in the Moment.
If you're looking for Yoga practice you'll find classes with us are energizing, relaxing, fun and work with your overall sense of well-being.
If you're still not sure about what to do or where to start please see the rest of the site. The site includes information about my formation as a teacher, a list of links to other Yoga sources, a newsletter and other information about Yoga.
